This year we decided to have Makayla's party at a nearby park. The weather has been very unpredictable so we were a little worried about how it would turn out for her party. When I woke up this morning it was sunny and looked like it would be perfect. Right around 9:30am, when we were headed to the park to set up, the clouds rolled in. The party started off cold and windy, but around 11am the clouds parted and the sun shone through.
We invited LOTS (about 40) of Makayla's friends to the party and had a great turnout! The park was full and because of the weather, we pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. The kids played hard, ate cupcakes and then went home. It was a great party!
