Lilly was 4 months old on Friday but we didn't go to the doctor until this morning. Here are her stats:
weight: 11 lb 15.5 oz (10-25%)
height: 25 in (75%)
head circumference: 40 cm (25%)
We talked with the doctor about starting solid foods and she agreed that Lilly is ready. We'll start with rice cereal twice a day and after 4 days we can try sweet potatoes, or some other veggie. I'm going to attempt to make most of her baby food. It really sounds pretty easy. Steam the veggies, puree them and then freeze in an ice cube tray. Wish me luck!
Of course we had to end the appointment with the dreaded shots! They gave her one shot in each thigh and one oral vaccine. She's such a trooper, cried for just a second and then fell asleep.
