Today we drove 30 miles to Lake Lanier Island, Ga. There is an awesome resort there and they have a beach and water park that you can pay to get into. There are lots of water slides/rides and Layla loved them. She rode them all with daddy and a few with me.
We got there right when it opened at 10am, so we were able to snag chairs under the big umbrella. It wasn't as hot of a day as we're use to here. There was on and off cloud coverage and a great breeze which made it comfortable.

We had a fun, full day in the sun (10am-5pm!). We decided as the day went on that it would be great to get season passes and to come out more often. As we were leaving, we took the plunge and bought the season passes. The girls and I plan on going again next week and hopefully we can get some friends to join us.
