Our baby girl is getting so big! Lilly is now 7 months old. Today she tried cheerios for the first time and really enjoyed them. She also had some homemade pizza crust. On our scale at home she is weighing in around 20.5 lbs. That's right people, we've got a chunky baby on our hands!
I know I say this A LOT, but Lilly is just the sweetest baby! She is so laid back and she just loves to smile. Her favorite things to do are bounce in her activity bouncer, talk and chew on stuff . She definitely prefers sitting up to laying down. When she's on her stomach she'll try to get up on her knees and scoot but she goes backwards because she pushes with her hands. She puts everything in her mouth...I think we're getting close to having a first tooth!
She's not a quiet baby...she's always talking! And when she cries (which isn't very often) she can REALLY make some noise. She says "ma-ma" and just started saying "da-da" and "ba-ba". We're using sign language for things like eat, milk, more, all done and bath. She gets the biggest smile on her face when you do any sign but she's trying to do the milk one on her own. Using sign language with Makayla was a huge help for her to communicate what she needed when her words didn't make sense to us. Hopefully Lilly will be as receptive to the sign language as her big sister was.
Here are some pictures we took playing on the bed. Such a happy girl!
Josh thinks she looks like me in the first one. Something about puffy cheeks...
And I think she looks like him in this one.
